In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, the most Merciful.

Welcome to ShiaCode.com, the 'ShiaCode' is a name derived from two meanings:

(1.) The word 'Shia' is an Arabic word meaning (followers or members of Party). Literally it means the following of Imam Ali the son of Abu Talib (peace be upon him), the first leader & Imam assigned by Allah to succeed the Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him & his family) and 11 of his chosen sons, the twelfth being the alive Imam of our time & space (Mahdi).

Shia Islam is a religion or belief system, it’s claim is that it is the religion of Allah and His Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him and his family), and the only religion that complies with all the laws of Allah the Almighty.

It is recognized that all the religions besides the Shia school of thought contains only parts of the message of Allah the Greatest, however the Shia school of thought contains the complete tenants of Islam that ensures correct guidance.

(2.) The word 'Code' stands for the Arabic word 'Din' meaning (religion). The literal meaning of 'Din' is (obedience), and its popular sense is (code) therefore, 'ShiaCode'.

Ayatollah al-Sayed al-Imam Ruhollah al-Mosawi al-Khomeini (a.s) once said:

'In Islam, the legislative power and competence to establish laws belongs (exclusively) to Allah the Almighty. Behave in such a way that when you depart for Allah's Threshold you may be able to hold your head up. Just as every person and individual is obliged to correct himself, he is also obliged to correct others. If you do not control corruption, there is no guarantee that things will not revert to former conditions. Invitation to Islam is principally an invitation to unity.'
